Wow they have redeveloped Yanchep National Park and now it's an amazing place to visit. They charge 13$ entry fee per car which is alright. You can enjoy a little picnic with your family or friends and have a bit of fun with kangaroos and koalas. ;)
Enjoyed a wonderful trip here. Explored the magnificent crystal caves with a fantastic tour guide who showed us many neat little things and some cool facts many people don't know. Also got to walk on the koala boardwalk and saw the magnificent little things. So cute . Would definitely recommend this to anyone considering coming.
Credit to Perth and WA. Lake Ness provides a perfect 1hr loop walk amongst wild flora and fauna. "gangs" of wild kangaroos everywhere at dawn and dusk. Just beware having a BBQ around sunset or the sprinkler/reticulation will literally put a damper on it!
Such a fantastic spot for household outings!My loved ones and I come here all of the time and therefore are not disappointed!From the caves into the cafes there's something for everybody! I truly advise coming at least once in your life
Highly recommend the campground there. It's been built only a couple of years ago so while amenities are basic it's all very new and there's everything you need, like toilets, showers, camp kitchen (just be aware it's a national park campground, not one in the city, which means no laundry facilities for example). It's only a short walk to the koalas and lake itself. And if you don't feel like cooking, just go grab a pint and some dinner at the Inn.
