Appointment was scheduled for 10:15am arrived at 10am as it was for my sons first time here. 10:50am and still havent been seen. Id rather drive an extra half hour then ever return. Reception staff member was in no way apologetic for the hold up she was quite rude. Dont waste your time.
Calderbank is a legend, best Dr there for years!I echo the wait times though, if you get away with 20 mins its a win.....
This place is consistently more than 30 minutes late. Have no problems with the doctors but was told that my appointment was soon and had to wait 35 minutes.
I recently relocated to Yanchep from Wodonga, Victoria. I needed to find a new GP so thought I would try Yanchep Medical Centre as they have a book online option. The medical centre is incredibly easy to find as its off Marmion Ave and across the road from the shopping centre. There is a decent amount of parking available including some disabled spaces (bonus as theyre located right at the door!) The waiting room is large and the reception staff are friendly. There is quite a lot of seating but beware the narrow aisles if you use a mobility aid. There are also chairs without arms to accommodate all body types and sizes. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Phillip Calderbank who is blessed with one of the best bedside manners Ive seen in a long time. His medicine was spot on and attention to detail incredible. Its been a very long time since I walked away from a doctors office actually feeling good. Yanchep Medical Centre also bulk bills (correct at time of publishing 21/11/2017. Dr Phil Calderbank will be recommended and is a great asset to Yanchep Medical Centre and I hope he sticks around for a while, because it's hard to keep the good ones and they end up broaden there horizons elsewhere
